This sculpture was exhibited in a 2023 solo exhibition, appropriately titled “Olugambo,” at Xenson Art Space. It is the image of a woman whose features have been deformed by her incessant gossiping. Unlike many of the other sculptures shown in that exhibition, this piece was unique for its minimalist aesthetic. As a sculptor, Nabulime is very nearly peerless, and her work has been widely collected at home and abroad. For many years she taught sculpture at Makerere University’s Margaret Trowell School of Industrial and Fine Arts.
