Tindi, one of Uganda’s established artists, executed this piece in ironic homage to often-elusive unity in the city. He told the collector that the symbolism in this piece “captures the vibe of people coming together in an urban setting, with the colors and shapes blending to show a sense of community and connection.” Tindi is as committed and talented an artist as there is anywhere in Uganda today, and he backs that up with the kindness that compels him to unfailingly attend show openings by fellow artists.
