This picture was exhibited in 2025 at Makerere University during the annual “Different But One” show, which curates new work by lecturers at the art school. Kyeyune, arguably Uganda’s greatest living artist, has captured the charged boda-boda scene in its various guises across many canvases, but this image is special because it zeroes in on the precarious act of getting off the motorcycle, as it were, so that the woman’s upraised bottom becomes the picture’s centre of gravity.
