Kizito Maria Kasule, an academic painter, has been active for many years. His style has evolved over the years, making him hard to pin down. This picture was painted in the naïve style he briefly embraced in the 1990s, and how charming it is. The painting does not, as far as the collector knows, have a title, but it is a lovely description of sisterhood. We’ve all likely seen little girls play in a garden, or run around in an open area, and often we’ve been entranced by the games they play. The painting was acquired from Entebbe’s Seyna Art Gallery, where it was displayed for years, even gathering dust.
