This piece was exhibited among several works by Lubega, a self-taught carpenter and sculptor, in a June 2026 show at the AKKA Gallery in Kampala. Lubega’s imagination as an artist is of the first order, and he put his abundant creativity to work in this body of work provoked by the subject of “opportunities” in life – the doors people are never allowed to go through, or those they enter but never find happiness.
